Welcome to St Mary’s of Lichfield…
Winners of the RICS Building Conservations Award 2019
St Mary’s is in the heart of Lichfield on the historic market square
Our capital development project has completely revamped the first-floor and will include a lift to allow all user groups to access the facilities and create a multi-use, cultural space with photographic archive & gallery area plus access to digital local records.
Our Mission Statement to reflect our new vision is:
To make St Mary’s the beating cultural heart of Lichfield’s community, building aspirations and skills through engagement with the City’s vibrant history and the arts
As a registered charity, we want to make sure that our heritage and arts programme will be accessible to all. We will encourage young people to take part in our creative learning opportunities, forging partnerships with schools, colleges and offer opportunities for nurturing new talent through our commitment to artist development.
Long -Term Collaboration for City Auctioneers
FIND out of if that trinket is treasure with Lichfield’s Richard Winterton Auctioneers at St Mary’s in the Market Square.
The family firm – which has been auctioneering in the city for seven generations – has launched weekly valuations specialising in jewellery and watches right here in the heart of the city centre.
Between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm every Monday (except Bank Holidays), gemmologists, jewellery experts and watch specialists will be upstairs at St Mary’s in the Market Square giving free valuations, advice and help uncovering the story behind the treasure in hand.
Please note that there will be no valuations on Mondays August 26th and September 2nd.
