For almost thirty-five years St Mary’s has been a hub for storytelling and interpretation delivered by our volunteer team, and there are even more exciting times ahead. We see our volunteer team as an integral part of this journey and are committed to providing a variety of opportunities to the people of Lichfield and beyond, enhancing the quality of the work we do by utilising your skills, passion and dedication. Volunteers give up their time for many reasons, so we also make sure we have the right support for you whatever your drive, whether that be to gain work experience, meet new friends or improve confidence.
Opportunities as a volunteer:
Tower tour guides
Evening ushers front of house
Full training will be given if you would like to work with us.

We will contact you once a suitable role has become available.
Group will create a short film using green screen techniques, used in many big-budget feature films to achieve spectacular effects -anything is possible!
The group will use creative writing to develop a storyboard and then act out their film in front of a green screen. The film will be edited and can be enjoyed as a group or taken back for a red-carpet event in your school.
From time to time during the year we will advertise a series of master classes brought to you by professional theatre performers.
We welcome the involvement and participation of our local community. We are a great resource for clubs and societies – from drama and performance based groups to specialist interest groups.
Look out for our regular programme of workshops held throughout the year
